KOREAN GARAGE© | Domains | The Spectra Converted 2001 Sephia | page #8 As some have seen in past pics my battery is not under the hood but rather in the trunk. I still have the original battery. And the battery this past winter was showing problems. I seen that Kevin R. was using a Odessey battery in his car. He live in michigan so I figured as cold as it gets there and he has no problems with it, then that is the brand I will go to. Problem is the Odessey battery is not a direct boltin. I have no plans of drilling holes in my car for the battery bracket. So I made a new battery plate to accomedate the Odessey bracket. Here is it.

The first step was cut a 1/3" thick piece of aluminum plate to size. Drill the holes to use the stock bolt locations for the original battery plate and to drill the holes for the Odessey hold doen bracket.

Step 2 to tap out the hole for the bracket. 6m 1.0 pitch. That same as all the stock 10mm bolts on the car.
723

Step 3 Screw in the 10mm bolts in the plate from the bottom to create studs.

Bolting it all down and putting on the nuts on the studs.
