Site History

I originally created the Korean Garage© in January of 2006 to help those find performance parts for their Korean built cars. This site was meant to be a impartial site not picking favorites. Since then getting frustrated with the way Cardomain® manages their site allowing everyone just to walk all over the KIA community I decided to create a safe place. The KOREAN GARAGE© Members Area. I started working on the Members Area on January 2, 2007 with the plan of opening up to the public on July 2, 2007. This new area include a Garage like that used in some forums, but also each member can create their own webpage like Cardomain®. But unlike Cardomain® it is easier to create your pages and add images. You can also use BBcode used in most forums and HTML, Javascript and CSS. You have complete freedom to create the page you want. Not many restriction. Those who do not understand BBcode or HTML will love the way you can automatically add images to the page. With the ability to create pages with images and video your pages will be superior to Cardomains.

Our Mission

It`s original mission was to help owners of South Korean built cars to find Performance parts for their cars. That is still our mission but we have added a new division, a place for KOREAN auto enthusiasts to share their cars in a safe place away from the typical import hater and empower them to fulfill their aspirations with help from others. This place is called My Korean Garage.

Prototype Hyundai XG and KIA Amanti CAI

I am currently working on a True cold air intake for the XG and the Amanti. I have a working prototype. Right now what I can tell you is no cutting like on the Sephia. No battery relocation. . All in all if it get completed from TB to filter with no CEL I will probably make a second one for a Amanti owner to try. If it does fit their car like I expect and no CEL I will see if the management of KFX will like to have a copy to reproduce. If they don't I will post a how to on this.

Do you own a Hyundai XG or a Kia Amanti or Oprius?

If you own one of these cars and would be interested in a Larger Rear anti-sway bar You might be be in luck. We need 3-5 pre-orders to get it done.

You may ask what reason for a larger rear sway bar? On FWD cars when you go around curves quickly they have a tendency to under steer. With a larger rear sway bar it increases grip to the front tires making better steering response. With a larger sway bar not only will your ride be a luxury ride, but it will handle closer to one too. Throw on some larger tires and you will almost have the handling of a Bimmer.
